The final piece of the Lincoln Common development, The Orchard provides high end condominiums to the Lincoln Park Neighborhood. Situated on the northeast corner of the site, the project presents unique logistical constraints relative to the recently completed apartment towers and adjacent St. Paul’s United Church to the east. Two underground levels of parking require a perimeter cantilevered retention system on three sides of the floorplate. Adjustable will utilize custom one sided formwork capable of full height one-sided basement wall pours with an integral haunch supporting level one. Clad in architectural precast and limestone veneer, the tower requires careful coordination of post-tensioning anchorage assemblies and perimeter embeds.
