Design-Assist To Achieve Structural Efficiency
Working in collaboration with our general contractor client, design team, and ownership, we were able to achieve significant structural savings. The seven story low rise residential portion was originally conceived as a light-gauge steel system bearing on a concrete podium slab. Adjustable was able to convert the superstructure to an all cast-in-place concrete option, allowing a shorter overall duration and significant savings. Further optimization was implemented at the typical tower levels, ground level podium slab, and lateral core system.
